Zooey was wonderful on SNL last night. It wasn’t an A+ show, in my opinion, but it certainly wasn’t because of her. After all, I don’t consider her a comedian. Her impression of Mary Kate Olsen was spot on. I also enjoyed the silent version of ‘Les Jeunes de Paris.’
I have high hopes for SNL this week. Hopefully my girl doesn’t let me down.

Zooey Deschanel is one of my favorite actresses. I fell in love with her (like most geeks I think) when she played Tricia McMillan in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. It was only after that when I learned she was in Elf with Will Ferrell (I am ashamed to admit I fell asleep in the theater while watching Elf. I rather enjoyed it the second time I watched it, though). She has been in many other films, including another with Will Ferrell called Winter Passing. If you are fan of Zooey’s I highly recommend it. Anyways, Zooey is also in a band called She & Him. She is a very talented musician. This is a video of her performing “I Put a Spell on You” on Conan. If you haven’t seen her sing this is a very good example of her talents. If you have seen/heard her sing you already know how amazing she is.
