Apple messes with hackers' heads
One common thing for Apple rumor mongers to do is to look at configuration files in beta iOS versions for references to new iOS devices. What does Apple to in response to this? They simply add a shit ton of references to iOS devices to make it impossible to know which ones are real. If Steve were still with us I can imagine him saying, “Well if they are going to screw around with our stuff then we will just confuse the hell out of them.”
